Charisma International College To Get Pioneer Management

The Charisma International College, Canaan Land Ubulu Uku is on the pedestal of being run by an international school management organization. The College which began academic activities in the last academic session, currently has about twenty students from across the country.
The Dominican Sisters, a female religious congregation is on the path of taking the management of the College for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. The Globas Prioress of the Congregation visited the College on 27th June to inspect and assess the College facilities. She had fruitful discussions with the National Chairman of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Nigeria and members of the Education Commission of the CCRN.
During the visit, the pioneer Junior Secondary students of the College welcomed and entertained the Prioress of the Dominican Sisters and two Sisters of the Congregation who accompanied her with songs and other displays.
The idea of establishing a secondary school at the National Service Centre of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Nigeria was mooted in 2005 by the leadership of the body at the time. The current Service of Communion of the CCRN set up an Education Commission in 2021 with Prof. Fabian Ehikhamenor of the University of Ibadan with terms of reference to see to the establishment of the institution.
The plan became reality with the intake of the pioneering set of students, mostly children of members of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Nigeria, from different Dioceses in Nigeria, in 2023. The College started academic activities in the 2023/2024 academic session.
Admission of the second set of Junior Secondary students into the Charisma International College is currently being processed for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The College has been formally approved by the Delta State Ministry of Education.
